How It Works
Remove Extra Effects
Anything that is important for your sound, like a specific chorus or distortion, leave on. Anything that is extra, or could be considered part of the mixing process, like reverb, compression, saturation, etc, turn off. This will give RT Studios the ability to craft the mix and make sure everything fits together.
Bounce Stems
This is the part where you render out the individual instruments. The more sounds the better here - individual drums like kick and snare should be separate if possible. Don’t worry too much about labelling everything; As long as the files are there, we’re golden. Wav files are preferred.
Transfer Files
There are plenty of free options for transferring stems, including Dropbox and Google Drive. Soon as the stems are received, we’re good to go!
